This painting is a very literal representation of a patch of Vitiligo-affected skin holding a bright flower that is the artist’s way to juxtapose the skin condition to be as beautiful as the flower the hand holds. There’s beauty, even in Vitiligo. The skin has lost its pigment and yet the skin’s patches don’t stop the hands from looking beautiful!
